Advent Fair

We offered Dutch sweets at our school's advent fair: We did quite well and donated the income to the foundation of our school. 

The presentation

Today the group gave a presentation about the one month they spent in the Neatherlads. We were all very happy to see that about 100 students and several techers came to listen to their talk.

Last day at practice :(

In the morning I woke up and I was sad. I went to the day-care for last time today. When I went into the group everybody was preparing my present. The children felt I'm going to go from them. I was sitting at the table when one of the Dutch colleagues women brought in a big pack and gave it to a little girl who came to me and said: Thank you! I was really happy for it. I got a very special present, an album with drawings that the children did especially for me, and with photos that were taken in the day care during my practice. After that I stayed with children and played games and listen music. And than I had to leave from there.I was really sorry to go.:(

But I came home and I pracked my bags. We had a farewell party at tonight. We really enjoyed it and laughed a lot. Also the food was good :). Tomorrow we are going to give a presentation at Friese Poort. Moreover we even have a task tonight, to prepare a surprise for tomorrow :)

Last game

Last Wednesday

Today I was in Leeuwarden, in my second practice place. This day was the same as the others, I could do a lot of things as usual. I  enjoyed this day and I talked a lot of the assistants … we get on well with each other J . Next week we ’ll  be at home, in uor usual practice place so it's a bit strange. J

Yesterday I was in Burgum this was my last time there because I ’ve got two practise places. I got a little gift  and it was very kind of them.

Today I lost my way because I didn’t find the bus stop… but fortunatelly I found the way home. J

Tommorrow we going to have a farewell dinner. This one month went by very quickly.

One day at another day care nursery

Today I was at Gabi’s practice place. There were little children like in a normal day care nursery. I  helped a lot with the children, I set the table, helped with their coats when we went outside. For breakfast they ate fruit: banana, apple, pear. After that the nurse read the children a tale about a bear. They really liked it. Then we went outside to play. It was so cold but they played with bikes and motors. At lunchtime I helped the children make their sandwiches. After lunch there was a little boy who wanted to sleep so he went to bed. While he was in bed the others played games. We painted a picture about trees. In the afternoon they had cookies with limonade. At about 5 o’clock the parents came to pick the children. I really liked this day. I had a good time here and it was nice to see another day care.  

Our last Sunday

Today we were very tired from yesterday's party and because of Sinterklaas. We got up late in the morning and then we had breakfast, cleaned the room and did the washing. My roommates and I cooked rice pudding for dinner. It was really great after all the sandwiches. Later we surfed on the internet and we told to our family and friends what happened this week. It is very strange that we only have six days left here and then we go home. :)

Wednesday

This day was the same like the others. I woke up at 7 and after when I was ready to go I went to my practice place wich is in Grou. When I was on my way someone stand next to me with a car. There was a woman and ask me am i go to the sisa too. I sad yes and she told me she will take me with car to the sisa. We talked a lot while we on a road, and she was so kind. After we arrived a started to play with the childrens, and after that I made the fruit for them. After the meal we went outside. They played so happily. When we went inside we had lunch. We winished with our meal i had to change someones diaper. And then I cleaned the desk. My worktime was over so I went home and Im relaxed, talked with my family. That was my day :)
