After an early wake up we travelled to Leeuwarden where we met Kati, and caught a bus. We arrived at a big building where Sinterklaas and the Swarte Piets were getting dressed and made their makeup. There was a little party where the Piets were dancing and singing. The mood was really good.

After that we got on a private bus and travelled to the ships. The Piets made music and were dancing on the first ship, the second ship, on which we were too, carried the Sinterclaas. Along the canal there were a lot of people and children. They were waiting for the ships and when we arried they waved to us.When the ship moored the Piets gave cookies and sweets to the children. Sinterclaas gave a speech.

After that we came home and had a rest and in the evening we went to a club and had some fun.It was a really interesting, nice and long day.
