My practice place is in Beetsterzwaag. There learn physical and multiple handicapped children. The school has two parts: the primary school and the secondary school. I am int he primary school. In this school the special education assistant can do more things like in Hungary.

Classroom

Each room has digital tablet, and a lot of training and other tools as well. The building has no floor, so don’t need to be elevator. The large school remind me a labyrinth, and at the beginning I was lost sometimes.

The first week I was in the first class, where I could help a lot for lunch, I took part in the teaching, and I could keep a lesson too. Now I am a little older children, they are 9-10 years old. They don’t need so much help, but I have exercise too.

I really enjoy that I could be active from the first moment. . Unfortunately, the communication is a little bit difficult because the children don’t speak English, so it is often need to translate between us, but I have already understand a few things Dutch.
