My
practice place is in Akkrum, not far from Grou. This is a friendly dentistry
with three units.
There is a central room, where we can put the dirty hand
pieces and instruments and you can also find the steriliztion machine there. We use
a digital x-ray which is very easy and fast to take an x-rays.
It is interesting
to me that there is one doctor who examines the patient and many times it is the dental assitant who does the treatments. Of course there are a lot of treatments that are done by the dentist.
I
do lot of things: polish the patients’ teeth, do fluoride treatment, assist during root canal tretaments, fillings and extractions.
The doctor and the assistants are very friendly and they make a very good team. We laugh a lot together, and if we have a
little time, we teach Dutch or Hungarian words each other :)
